AURORA VIAGGI
Aurora Viaggi is a travel agency with a long history dating back to the first years after the war. In 1963 it then fully bloomed under the leadership of Mr. Egon Kraus. The focus of the tourist offer was set since the very beginning on the area of former Yugoslavia, providing at first services such as day-trips, ferry services, visas and any sort of general information.
The flourish of tourism in those years resulted in a fast paced adaptation to the demand of the ever growing number of customers and travellers. The agency thus evolved its offer first to longer tours and cruises and then gradually started to regularly organize travels to every continent.
We now wanted to further broaden our tourist offer and be able to suggest to tourists visiting Triest also a unique offer for the area surrounding the city, be it the closest outskirts of town or more distant regions in the border area, again emphasising the most hidden treasures of the territory.

THE PROJECT THE SURROUNDINGS OF TRIEST
The goal of this project is to valorize and encourage the development of tourism in the lesser known areas of the border region. The emphasis is on the presentation of different cultures, traditions, ethnographic peculiarities as much as on the natural and historical heritage of the regions surrounding Triest among with the Karst, the Coast, the region of Gorizia and the area around Kranjska Gora in Slovenia.

It is our aim to promote day excursions and longer trips be it for individuals or groups. This way we strive to produce a varied and quality tourist offer and thus promote the destinations of this area throughout the whole year.
